Taking a break from spreadsheets and data management to post on some interesting apps I came across and news on updates to some popular CRE CRM apps.
A very clever add on for Gmail, Outlook and several CRM apps, Evercontact is a daily service that scans your emails collecting contact info to keep your current contacts up to date and add new ones. Depending on your mail app, you’ll get an email notification or see new contacts Evercontact found in a side panel. Review the new contacts to accept or reject them.
There’s also a Chrome browser plugin that lets you add contact information from the web directly to your app’s address book.
If your contacts are a mess, you can use their “flashback” service to scour old emails to find updates, missing contacts or to create a whole new address book.
Pricing is quite reasonable and starts at $59 per year for Gmail, Outlook and HighRise. The “flashback” option is an additional one time cost based on the mail app and the number of emails and/or years you want to search.
Keyser Office Space Calculator
Intended to help users determine their space needs before they search, the Keyser Office Space Calculator can come in handy for agents who can use it to walk their clients through a needs analysis. The interface is straightforward and you can email the results once you’re done. It’s available for iPhone only – and it’s free.
Plus here’s an interesting read about how the developers used it to reverse engineer the space needs for the Beats By Dre office space.
Ascendix has recently added a marketing add-on to its CRM – xRE Composer – that lets you create brochures, flyers and microsites all in one place – and with an easy to use drag and drop interface.
And if you haven’t seen it, check out Ascendix’s new interface option – xRE SmartClient. It’s a broker specific overlay that focuses on streamlining, speed and search and can work on any mobile or desktop device.
ClientLook, a favorite of agents who like the simple interface and useful features like synching (Outlook, Gmail, mobile), data import/export and collaboration tools, now integrates with Xceligent. That means you can search for properties to create your own inventory and link them to contacts and deals in the ClientLook app. The video gives an overview of the Property Tracking System.
Apto added commission tracking to their CRE specific CRM. Having seen it in action, I have to say I’m totally impressed. Book the deal on closing, issue invoices, track commission payments and agent totals. Plus there are numerous reports to run or add to your dashboard. It’s a great addition to their already solid pipeline management features. Read more about it here.
